Six steps from first call to first live order.
The same sequence for an ERP, a store or a custom portal. What changes is how long each step takes, and you know that after discovery.
- 1
Discovery
1 to 2 weeksWe sit with each team and list every system you run today, from Tally to the WhatsApp groups, and mark each place data gets retyped. You get a scope with a fixed price and timeline.
- 2
Design
1 weekWe pick the platform for each part and draw how data moves between them. Standard features where they fit, custom code where they do not, each with a reason. You approve before we build.
- 3
Build
3 to 10 weeksConfiguration, custom code and connectors built on a staging server you can log into. Weekly demos with your own data, so nothing is a surprise at the end.
- 4
Testing
1 to 2 weeksYour team runs real scenarios end to end: an online order through payment, invoice and courier, a purchase, a month-end close. Issues are fixed in the same sprint.
- 5
Go-live
1 weekendFinal data load, connectors switched on one at a time, and we are on site or on call. The first live order goes through every system before Monday lunch.
- 6
Support
OngoingTwo weeks of hypercare, then a support plan with response times in writing. Every connector is monitored, so a failed sync raises an alert before it becomes a complaint.
Questions we get on the first call
Do we have to replace Tally or our current software?
No. If Tally works for your accountant, we keep it and sync it. If your store runs well on Shopify, it stays. We replace a system only when it costs more to connect than to retire, and we show you that math in discovery.
Odoo, ERPNext or something custom?
Odoo when you want the widest set of ready modules and our deepest experience. ERPNext when you want fully open source with no per-user license fees. Custom Django or Laravel only for the part no ERP handles well. You get the yearly cost of each option in writing.
How long does a project take?
A Shopify store with ERP sync usually takes four to six weeks. An ERP implementation takes six to sixteen weeks for most SMEs. A custom portal depends on how many screens it needs. Discovery gives you the exact number and a fixed price.
What happens when a sync fails?
It retries on its own. If it still fails, the record waits in a queue with a readable error, and your team gets an alert by email or WhatsApp. Support can see exactly which order, invoice or payment is stuck and why.
Can you take over a system another vendor built?
Yes, often. We audit the code, the server and the data first, tell you what is safe to keep, and quote the fixes before we change anything.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. Code lives in a repository you can access, data stays in your database or cloud account, and logins are handed over at go-live. If you ever move on from us, the next team starts with everything.
What happens to our customizations on the next upgrade?
We keep them in separate modules or apps with tests, never edits to the core, so moving to the next Odoo or ERPNext version is a planned job, not a rewrite. Upgrades are quoted separately and planned yearly.
Tell us which systems disagree. We will fix that.
Thirty minutes with an engineer, not a salesperson. You leave with a map of what you run, what to connect first and a price range, whether or not you hire us.
